Queerly Beloved

An intimate evening of story, song and art with Jennifer Knapp, Shawna Bowman and....YOU!

🎤 Be Part of the Show
This isn’t your typical concert. At this special performance, YOU introduce the songs!

Here’s how it works:
Choose a song by the artist that resonates with you. Share the story behind why it matters. If selected, your words will be read aloud to introduce the song—before the artist takes the stage to perform it.

Not a Book Club

Friendship is launching a new kind of book club with an emphasis on building community and conversations around a monthly theme. The books listed will be utilized as a supplement to our conversations and we will share other resources with one another as well! We understand it can be hard to squeeze reading time in these days, so whether you’ve read the book all the way through or not, you’re invited and encouraged to attend the discussion!

The theme for June is: Spirituality and Social Justice. The Book Recommendation is: For Times Such as These: A Radical's Guide to the Jewish Year by Ariana Katz and Jessica Rosenberg

These discussions will be hybrid, meaning you can join us in person or online! We will meet in person at 5150 N Northwest HWY Chicago, IL 60630. Enter under the “Friendship” sign! Snacks will be provided. If you’re joining us online, head to https://bit.ly/nabcfcp to join the Zoom room.
